This visual essay was created in answer to the question “Design Sprints have revolutionised Visual Communication Design. Discuss”. Design Sprints are a useful and common process in our industry so understanding their purpose is crucial. However, I found researching the topic dry and hard to grasp without completing one myself. I decided to create this resource in the hope it would help others understand, and therefore better remember, the design sprint process and its usefulness. The sticky note theme throughout the booklet was to reflect the use of sticky notes to display and vote on ideas within design sprints. Regardless of whether this resource has the desired reach, creating a physical booklet in this way was new and unusual for me. I found the process challenging but very enjoyable.
